bridal bouquet commissions

A wedding

More than celebration

More than declaration

This day requires more than a photograph

This day deserves an incredible commemoration

The fleeting life of beautiful blooms

Will live forever as a treasured painting

Alive with the brushstrokes of a gentle and assured hand

Capturing more than memories it will inspire a lifetime of love

The image on the left is the photograph provided by the bride. Her request was to keep the same shape and format as the image. While initially she requested a cream background, I suggested the turquoise to really make the colors pop. She agreed with the background color. She loved the end result and I loved painting this special commission.

“Agnes took a photo that was over 20 years old and made the most beautiful painting from it. I knew immediately that the painting was my wedding bouquet and I was at a loss for words, it is just the most amazing piece of art. Vibrant colors and textures- the perfect addition to my home, and any home. "

The image on the left is the photograph (cropped) provided, it is a non digital image over 20 years old. Based on what I could see from the photograph and the description of the bouquet the image on the right is the result (cropped). The bride wanted a dark purple background. I was delighted with the result and so was she!

With this commission I was given a non digital photograph from almost 20 years ago (cropped on left). I was also given a description of the bouquet in more detail. The bride asked for a sketch like painting on a sheet of unstretched canvas, this is one of my options. The result is loose brush strokes with the line drawing visible, a more illustrative style (cropped on right). The bride loved it!
